SOLD This gorgeous organic flowing ring design features three beautiful pastel coloured gemstones. Sky Blue Aquamarine, Pink Tourmaline and Soft Mauve Spinel, set in 9ct Yellow Gold with Silver Palladium. We use Silver Palladium as an alternative to Sterling Silver because it will not tarnish, retaining its gorgeous bright whit colour. We have used Bezel settings highlight the clean flowing lines of this ring and these gentle hued gemstones. Designed to maximise comfort the band of this ring features a beautiful soft rounded profile.
About Aquamarine, Tourmaline and Spinel
Aquamarines are a very popular stone accross many cultures. They are also the symbolic birthstone of March, and ranges in colour from sea-foam green, to sky-blue, to teal. Aquamarine is part of the Beryl mineral family and has a hardness of 8 on the Moh’s Scale of hardness.
Tourmalines are renowned globally as the traditional birthstone of October, and more interestingly the array of colours they are found in – colours of the rainbow. Tourmaline has a hardness of 7-7.5 on the Moh’s Scale of hardness.
A slightly lesser known gemstone, Spinel has gained in popularity quickly since the crown jewels have been discovered to feature a Spinel as the centre piece! Spinel has also become known as the modern birthstone of August. The gem world is quickly being captivated by the vast array of colours Spinel can be found in. Most commonly found in Red, Pink, Blue, Purple and Orange. Spinel also has a hardness of 7.5-8 on the Moh’s Scale of hardness.
